Washington Stonehenge

Overlooking the Columbia River and the town of Maryhill, Washington, is a replica Stonehenge.It was built by a man named Hill after he was mistakenly informed that the original Stonehenge had been used as a sacrificial site. He then made this reproduction as a reminder that “humanity is still being sacrificed to the god of war.

The Fremont Troll

The Fremont troll has been lurking under the north end of the Aurora bridge since 1990. He was sculpted by four Seattle area artists — Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter and Ross Whitehead — for the Fremont Arts Council. The head-and-shoulders sculpture is 18-ft. tall.
