Harley Riding Vice President

Is our next potential vice president, Sarah Palin, a Harley rider or poser? You decide for yourself.

I can’t stop thinking that if we could get some debate on helmet laws, lane splitting or loud pipes, we could get some actual answers out of these candidates instead of the diarrhea that continues to  spew out of their mouths.  What if we spent some of that bailout money on fixing the road snakes or motorcycle “only” parking or how about a motorcycle only lane on the freeway?

Will we be seeing Sarah Palin at next years Testicle Festival or Sturgis?  I wonder if the secret service would dress in bandannas and cut off muscle shirts?  Maybe some chaps.  I don’t even want to speculate what would happen the first time some drunk biker yelled “Hey Sarah baby, show us your tits”.

Legal Guide to Sturgis

I was reading the insert in American Bagger and came across an article written by Tobin Karn who is a lawyer and biker, outlining some of the reasons bikers get pulled over and cited in Sturgis.

Lack of proper eye protection – while you don’t have to wear a helmet, eye protection is still required.  Don’t forget to take those sunglasses off the top of your head when getting on your bike.

Ape Hangers – In South Dakota your handgrips can not be at shoulder level or above.

RWK has gone international

We have our first official international RWK members.  Welcome Bob and Ed.  We met up with these guys at a KOA in Billings and again in Sturgis.  Bob was even nice enough to send along one of his pictures.

Festy Bound

Well I am all packed up and ready to go.  I leave tomorrow morning heading for the Testy Festy and Sturgis.  I will keep the website updated with short posts and interesting pictures through out the trip.  I will be limited to entering the data via my cell phone so don’t expect too much until I get back.
